[kj] Mugabe loses his knighthood

It cracks me up to discover he was ever knighted in the first place. But 
I suppose that's par. The whole knighthood thing has always amused me 
(an American). From "Sir" Alex Ferguson to Ceaucescu, the fuck all does 
it ever mean or matter? That one has gained enough notoriety that the 
crown even wants to leech up some of your fame? It sounds like another 
back-scratching loop like getting your star on Hollywood or the 
Presidential Medal of Freedom. But then I s'pose most honors and awards 
rarely honor what they claim to represent. Some things just bug me that 
they're ever even passed off as "news."
