In case it wasn't clear enough. I forgive what is worth being forgiven. I don't what I think it's shitfaced.
Doesn't matter who or what party. My political beliefs do not transcend into personal. I can keep the 2
quite separate.

Cheers,
Me

Appreciate the explanation. I'm fully aware of what happened right after the terrorist attacks, but unfortunately, it is my humble opinion that the president bungled things badly afterwards.
(And I gave Bush the benefit of the doubt for 3 or so years, until it was clear just how incompetent a leader he was/is.)
You may agree with that, or not.
It's fine that you donated to money to Hillary C.'s campaign, but I'm not sure you answered the first question. That's cool; I'm over it.

Happy biking,

I didn't care for Clintons blow job story or the "impeachment" process.

I donated money to Hillary's campaign. And I have no hatred for the "Clinton Machine"

as some ppl. are apt. to call it.

When the towers went down it wreaked havoc on the economy. Wall street got smacked big time,

monies spent on security upgrades, cleanup issues, health, rescue and recovery, restrictions on

airlines, restrictions on passangers, restrictions on flight paths and rerouting of all the plane routes.

And there is plenty more where that came from. This is also right after the technology bubble.

We're not discussing if what Bush did was right or not. I'm just pointing out some that you can not compare

the economy of Bush to Clinton.

Cheers,

Me

(and will have fun later on my bike ride!)

But let me guess: If Clinton had done some of the things Bush had, you'd be as forgiving, right?

(With all due respect, I get the feeling the answer to that is a big, fat NO.)

And for the record, I'm no Clinton fan (but unlike Bush, at least he was willing to actually work with those across the aisle).

But I'm always amused at how conservatives (and I'm not lumping you in with them, OK?), who once hated him more than Satan himself, know use his actions as a way to defend this current disgrace of a president.

And 9/11 didn't "totally fuck up the economy," either -- and that will never, ever justify Bush's actions.

Have fun,

k.w.

Clinton had the luck of being in the right place at the right time during the Technology bubble.
Clinton also did not suffer a 9/11 attack which totally fucked up the economy.

Clinton also had republicans who personally helped him with his economic strategies.

Me

Maybe we should make sure that our Presidents have outlets to, er, release themselves instead of channeling that energy into destruction.

If you wanted to make a comment about Post Industrial Capitalism, let's hear it, not just the tired mantra of "they're all the same". No shit. However, some are a tad worse than others.

Bette:
Yeah, she's a beam of light, all right ...
But I think you're on to something with McCain (who I honestly don't think is such a bad guy -- but it's just sad to see how desperate he is when it comes to this election, and his flip-flopping makes John Kerry look like Ronald Reagan).

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.....the only reason Obama will be our next President is because we don't want a slab of tired, overdone chicken cutlet who praises to the high heavens Lil' Bush. I read that said chicken cutlet is considering Condoleeza Rice as his running mate.....she is such a beam of light!

Yeah, funnier, but I think the original does a great job of showing just how divisive Demo-twat supporters can be. What a message to spread, eh! Let's take sides, everyone!

Politics swings like a pendulum because the left & the right attempt to exclude each other. Then the group of people who's opinions have been excluded eventuallty rise-up again & so on in this pathetic cycle. You're in MY club or you're not - they BOTH say this!

Myspace? Yeah, I'm wearing an advertising board on my back as I speak! It says 'KILLING JOKE'. Oh, that's an acceptable form of advertising? Right! I don't ever expect to make a living from music, but it's nice if someone pops by one of the numerous urls & listens for a minute or two - is that so EVIL? ;)

Everyone who's supporting the 'force for change' that is Obummer - you probably feel like I did when Labour where about to take over in 1996. I was a naive (to say the least) 23 year old & thought to myself "thank fuck for that, the Tories are out & everything is going to be fine from now on..."

OOPS!

I prefer the errr... Edited version.... :)
"Some of the dire consequences of political inbreeding in Blue States.
This is a parody of TruthThroughAction.org's short film, Blue Balled. The original film, horribly edited, has a message so badly cobbled together that to parody it is like whacking a pinata with a boat oar, sans blindfold. But we couldn't resist. The film is so self-satisfyingly smug it has a virtual "kick me" sign on it.
What we can't help thinking is that when you ask Obama supporters why they are voting for him they say, "because he has the ability to bring the country together." Oh, really? These knuckleheads have made an entire film about the complete polar opposite of Barack's supposed appeal.
Enjoy!"

BTW, Ade. Are you a walking myspace commercial? :)
