This is an awful lot of spending.....

Unless someone can quickly put an end to the American military presence in Iraq and Afghanistan, the USA is unlikely to have the resources to invade Iran any time soon.

Saudi Arabia just stated they will be "releasing more oil" to the world.  Bush and Co would not have the resources, time or popular support to invade Iran.  Alaska is the target.

Well, none of us should be surprised about Bush's meglomania. However, all these armchair warriors need to understand one thing: Iran is NOT Iraq. It has a million-man army and will not sit there while we invade. They also threaten vital Gulf supply routes, and that would not be good for the soldiers stationed over there (or civilians, for that matter).
And if you think gas prices are insane in the U.S., just wait until we invade there. 
Quite frankly, I believe that even the Bush administration will be so stupid. 
(Or at least, I hope).
