As sad as it may sound, I did once try to find out. From the answers I got I found out that the average age was 39. Difficult to really say since you have to take into account all the lurkers and the newcomers etc, it's probably not far from the truth though. Someone went on to say that we should find out what the gatherer's average height is, don't know what came of that :)
