Wow ... I'm not the only one then, excellent one Mik ... I remember being online here whilst watching The Stooges at Glastonbury on BBC4 ... thankfully it has been repeated so it's now on my Sky+ box ...  much better than the Iggy Pop set I saw at Brixton Academy (2002) ... far too fast that was ... spoiled it really ...

      saw them at Brixton last year, great show but surely only the diehards would pay £40 to see them at Hammersmith so soon after a tour..can't really get at them for cashing in if they sellout every time..they won't get my dosh this time tho.

      I saw the Pistols at the Palace, foolishly thinking that as I was too young to see the first gig that I had a least seen the last...how wrong could it be! I subsequently saw them at Manchester MEN arena last year and vowed that was the last time I would watch a punk band in a big venue. If you haven't seen them then pay the dollar and go as they are still a tight band and Lydon is eminently watchable Â- but I get that horrible feeling at these gigs that I am at a Punk Pantomime and being fleeced for the privilege.
