Check out this campaign ad by Republican Texas senator John Cornyn. He's 
running for re-election to the US senate.

Now, how many of my overseas friends see this ad, or ads painfully like 
it, and think this probably a pretty accurate portrayal of, say, my life 
in Texas -- or most Texan's lives?
