hi bette ;)

well i believe jaz and gordie met jimmy page, thats not hard to reason with, considering jaz did the orchestral pay homage score to led zep,but i dont believe jaz really had a chance to nick one of jimmy pages sacred high magik books, there all under lock and key anyways ;D

jimmy may of let jaz look at them through the locked cabinet,he may of even let jaz touch them and have a flick through, but he would not of left jaz alone with his collection, thus giving jaz any chance of stealing any, jimmys not stupid lol

milinda ps hammer of the gods--great book,i am reading it 4 the second time ;P

Well, it's quite the "Peter and the Wolf" connundrum, eh? I mean, Coleman saying he's even met Jimmy Page...is there any real evidence of this? I can't imagine Mr Page taking Coleman under his wing long enough to allow him to even enter his abode and take a look, let alone a book. I mean, when I read "Hammer of the Gods" I will always remember that picture of Jimmy Page in the fetal position on the floor after signing a band to his label....he wasn't really into much except one thing in the late 70s. And then Coleman going on to say he met and hung out with Lady Diana..... Yeah, I see this "documentary" has some dark humour (the yawning, bored congregation, the designation of NME as one of the most vile products of capitalism) and I would like to think this is intentional......it's like he learned a tad from his appearance in "The Year of the Devil" but not enough not to revert to achingly bad over the top BS. Sad he had to put this up right before their tour, when I feel the focus should be on celebrating the band and remembering Raven!!!!!! My 1/2 US Cent,Bette

Yeah, people tend to gloss over the PiL & Ants influences. Let alone AC/DC & the Glitter Band !

It's interesting... NME reads "enemy". I'm an obsessed freak, of course.
2008/6/12 Alex Smith <vassifer at earthlink.net>:

I love how they list all these mega-corps and then in BIG HUGE MASSIVE FONT, they cite the paltry music rag,NME (as if it's as big a threat to the continued functioning of the planet as, say, some big oil company). It kinda reminds me of when rapper KRS-One suggested that the black community felt that 9/11 was somehow justified because of what record companies were doing to rappers --- SAY WHAT? Musicians really need to get over themselves.Alex in NYC

I agree with others that the rest of the band need to be featured in this as well. Can't wait though:)
