I don't blame him - they tried to pin racism on him.

It has to be said that NME have fucked with peoples' careers to say the least. But of course they're in no way in the same league as Exxon et al - it just makes a mockery of the whole thing, to pop NME in there. I can imagine it now: Bitter & twisted singer compares NME to Exxon... how sad...

Haha, I thought that was funny, too - "NME!!!" all evil and
menacing-looking amidst really shading entities like ExxonMobil.
Remember about a year ago, was it, Morrissey also really had it out for NME.
