They prolly think the 'Invisible Hand' (from Adam Smith) is the Hand Of God as well.

... ... ... ... ... ...
(looking at the current state of things)

'Save me..
 save me from Tomorrow..
I don't want to sail in this Ship Of Fools...!'

I've been watching a lot of George Carlin recently, and I tend to give
*some* credence to his statement that politicians are a distraction. i.e.
the real power brokers or string pullers are the bankers, multinationals,
the wealthy individuals, groups, familes who fund political parties, the
ones who own and control the media. The argument being that the
politicians are a front group for the wealthy and powerful.

And it's not hard to imagine that even if Omaba was genuine about his
intentions, that he would be stymied, hamstrung, and perhaps killed. One
thing that concerns me is that he's a Christian...seems to be a
pre-requisite to even be considered for nomination, which is a shame.
Personally I think even more ground-breaking than a black President would
be an agnostic or atheist President.

It's always struck me as strange (and convenient) that in the US
conservative generally implies Christian as well. i.e those who are most
in favour of more 'freedom' for business are those who would have you
believe in their invisible friend who lives in the clouds, who speaks
through them.
