Exorcist, the "lefties" that do the bombing were a tiny, tiny, tiny minority of the old anti-Vietnam War movement. Calling themselves the "Weathermen" they were a handful of spoiled rich kids who know nothing about organizing a real anti-war movement. The party I belong to has always strongly condemmed them (we were the ones trying to bring the anti-war movement out of the colleges into the working class), as of course everyone else. It's ironic that a huge amount of attention is wasted on those assholes (recent books, movies, articles) instead of the 100,000 or so other students that were doing something positive against the Vietnam War. In fact most of these pseudo-terrorist groups are tiny compared to the rest of the left. It's no accident that the rightwing media harps on them endlesslly, to convince poeple like you that they represent the whole left. It's like saying that all rightwingers are in the KKK--do you believe that to?

If so, why are the ultra right-wing nut job hate-filled paranoid talk radio nuts freaking out b/c they think Obama may be Muslim due to his name? I agree it shouldn't matter (although I'd prefer an atheist president, or atheist anyone for that matter)...
