Chomski thinks his shit through, considers ramifications & knows the world revolves around pros
& cons, not ideals. I think Rimbaud is a tad keen to throw 'right-on'-isms about, relying on slogans,
etc. Nevertheless, I think his idealistic view is more tempered these days, which appeals to me. I
think more of us truth- searching, wrong-hating, esoteric types identify with Rimbaud, 'cos he's really
just a Pub Philosopher, whereas Chomsky *seems* to actually know how the world works!
People will always buy shit from celebrities, no matter what their politics, or common sense in this
case.

Not really what I was referring to, and I don't really see them as exceptional people in the context of them corresponding with people who write to them, although appreciated.
I just find Chomski's work a little more comprehensive and prolific, in relation to Rimbaud.
I agree on the absurdity of the sale.
