[kj] OT: Pat Condell

[The Exorcist]

Ayup... I've been listening to his stuff recently. I found it to be 
quite entertaining as well as
insightful. So few people are willing to say what he says. They are 
all cowered by the PC
system.

I hate it when any zealotry of any kind goes around and gains 
movement. The same with
the whole "Intelligent Design" fiasco going on now. I have no issues 
with their belief and they
are all entitled to it. However it does NOT belong in the classroom. 
It literally drives me nuts!
It is NOT science. It's a belief.

I fail to understand as to why people feel the need to promote it. *sigh*

However, all those comments about him will come in handy. Next time I 
disagree with Brendan I'll just cut
and paste. It'll make life much easier for me! :)

Competition is a barbaric, insensitive ritual that reeks of social Darwinism.
We cannot allow the fittest to survive on our pages. Your loss is someone
else's gain, and your gain is someone else's loss. Therefore, losers contribute
to the society and winners take away from it. Being a winner is 
unethical, while
a society of losers is happy and striving as a collective. In the 
spirit of diversity,
inclusiveness, and collectivism our contests shall have no winners.
Everyone is declared a loser, which in our book means an ethical team player.
