Anyone want to be on the new NC&TBS remasters? I could rant on about the
Firstborn is Dead for hours (and, indeed, have).

 

Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds and Mute announce the first four albums in a
series that will see the band's entire album catalogue digitally re-mastered
and remixed in 5.1 surround sound.


>From Her To Eternity, The First Born Is Dead, Kicking Against The Pricks and

Your Funeral, My Trial are set to be released at the end of the year. 

Each deluxe double-disc collector's edition contains the re-mastered stereo
album, the new surround mix, a specially commissioned short film made by
acclaimed UK artists Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard plus single b-sides and
exclusive sleeve notes.

 

CALL FOR PARICIPANTS IN THE FILMS FOR THE ALBUM REMASTERS 

Artists Iain Forsyth & Jane Pollard have been commissioned to produce a
series of short films that will accompany each of the recently announced
Collector's Editions when Mute release the remastered Nick Cave & The Bad
Seeds studio albums.

Iain & Jane are looking for a small number of fans to participate in the
project. They're filming in London, New York, Melbourne and Berlin in August
and September this year and are looking for fans to talk about the songs
they have a connection to from the band's history.
