Well, heck, Ex: You're just summed up a typical day in Las Vegas! ; )

Anyway, enjoy life.

Naaaaa, not fortitude. Stubbornness and the lack of will to do anything else this summer.
Don't drink much anymore, don't give a fuck for dance clubs, no time for dating (nor patience),
bored of strippers and strip joints. What else is there to do?

Viva La Sports!!!!

Have a lovely day Karen

Not that fit LOL (Still smoke as well). I'm thin but not in shape. I became quite ill 2 years ago and was out of sorts for a while.

I've been playing basketball once a week for about 2 hours the past 2 years and decided that my jump is nowhere

compared to what it used to be and I missed biking a lot. When I got sick I left my bike (gorgeous Bianchi) by someone and

it sorta got borrowed by someone who forgot to *ahem* return it.

Bought a bike on June 11, cost me a pretty fucking penny but try to do a bit everyday. Racked up about 450 miles on it.

Got my cousin to buy one as well, he's got a wee bit of a gut so it comes in handy for the both of us. he's now teaching me handball

and totally kicking my ass. Shoulder has soreness but it's getting less and less. I try to do a bit everyday so I don't get rusty.

Only problem is I come home between 5-7pm, my cousin comes home between 8-10pm so our routines run a tad late.

I'm hoping to get into shape so I can do the New York Century ride in september.

Mind you losing is ok if you get a decent workout. LOL

Cheers,

Me

blimey how fit are you. Had my first game of cricket of the season on Tuesday and its half killed me!! I can't walk properly. I play wicket keeper and all the bobbibg up and down has made muscles not normally in use seize up completly - ouch! Too old for all that obviously. And we lost!

Wake up, go to work, come home, get on my new bike, cycle (for like 2 hours), or handball or basketball, more cycle, get home at 1-2am
shower, eat, sleep. Rinse and repeat.

Exciting ehhh?

Missing my wife & children during the week, as they're currently esconced out at my Mother's place on Long Island for all of July (I go out there on weekends). Trying to ignore the Tinnitus in my right ear. Trying to not drink so much goddamn beer and eat so much cruddy food, as now that I'm forty, I don't seem to shed the weight quite as swiftly as I used to do. Have been considreing stepping away from The Gathering, if only because I rarely have the time to devote to it.

Trying not to stress out so much, but that seems unavoidable.

Looking forward to KJ shows in October, obviously.

Alex in NYC

Competition is a barbaric, insensitive ritual that reeks of social Darwinism.
We cannot allow the fittest to survive on our pages. Your loss is someone
else's gain, and your gain is someone else's loss. Therefore, losers contribute
to the society and winners take away from it. Being a winner is unethical, while
a society of losers is happy and striving as a collective. In the spirit of diversity,
inclusiveness, and collectivism our contests shall have no winners.
Everyone is declared a loser, which in our book means an ethical team player.
