Youth brings a lot of producing / recording talent too, no?

I think you're absolutely right. A vital member of Killing Joke is gone,
which shifts the burden of responsibility onto the remaining members. Since
they were all friends of Raven, what better way to commemorate their
friend's death than taking Killing Joke back on the road and delivering a
series of outstanding shows, just as Raven would have wanted? Picking Youth
makes sense; who would want a session musician to fill Raven's shoes? He may
not be as fine a player as Raven (IMO), but he's one of the four remaining
pillars of the band, and I'm sure the blackbird would be thriller to know
that Youth and Big Paul were stepping back up to the plate.

As for the choice of material- Joke shows with or without Raven for fifteen
years have been based around the first album, Pandemonium and the new album,
and there isn't much of a difference now.

I dare suggest that were it not for Raven's untimely departure from this
earth, this reunion would not be happening. I'm sure he'll be more than
acknowledged. I'd imagine the reason they're focussing on the non-Raven era
is because Youth's possible unfamiliarity with the parts (tho' I'd imagine
he could certainly learn them).

It's for the same reason that I doubt the current touring incarnation of Van
Halen aren't playing anything from the Hager/Cherone eras.

I wondered that too.

I guess there may be a track or two during encores but then they could play
tracks from revelations and democracy as well.

The "singles" as mentioned is the Nervous System/Are you receiving single.

It would be wrong to not acknowledge Raven in some way during the show I
think.

The press release , or Rob prematurely letting the cat out the bag, stated
that Killing joke will be playing the first two albums and also the album
Pandemonium , these are all songs that Youth played on and not Raven.
Will this new KJ reincarnation play any Raven era songs at all ?

P.S. If Obamamamama gets elected as U.S President , would you be in favour
of an assassination ?
