Difficult to gauge as I haven't experienced one before.  Living in the caravan I think that it might've been a bit exaggerated.  Loads of things fell off shelves and a plate smashed onto the floor in the kitchen.  Best bit, The Book of the Law threw itself onto my keyboard causing what could've been a very unfortunate typo.
 
everytime this happens I think, god LA is well overdue!Was it a shaker, or did your floor kind of rock on you?

We've just had some sort of earthquake - woooo.  Hopefully that's what it was and not some chemical plant going up.
