  If woman find the porn industry so bad, then why don't they get a job working on the check-out in a supermarket like everyone else does ? Porn stars do it for the money , a year working in Tescos or earn the same money in an afternoon by making a porn movie. 
   Its their choice . They earn big money in a short space of time . And they choose to do it.
Some women have a different sexual partner every week through choice because they enjoy it , these Woman who make porn movies  enjoy it and also get paid for it.
  And they dont usually make more than a few porn movies .

I don't know which industry gets the dubious honour of being the worst, but I'd say two things.
 
1. The people (all women) that I know who have worked in the sex industry were definitely negatively affected by it over time.  They had problems to start with, and sex-work made them worse.
 
2. Wouldn’t it be nice if anything in life was easy. Unfortunately people get exploited in all industries. Think of the kids working in sweat shops to make the cheap clothes we all buy. Why single out the sex industry as being any worse than any other?

With respect, there is a downside.  Many, many people are exploited by the sex industry - not including those who are against their will.  You can understand why people draw a line against it.

Not just those who've been involved in producing it but those who've been abused as a result of the product.

Wouldn't it be nice if it was easy.

I have a close friend who is a dancer/stripper and have had dealings w those in the adult entertainment industry. 

A female involved in any of that has usually (90 % or higher) been either molested/raped as a child or teen, abortions,  physically/,mentally abused, drug/alcohol issues, esteem issues or a nice little cocktail of all that. With all that comes apathy and disassociation which you need a hefty dose of to be in any of those industries. 

"doing what she wants to do"- well I can tell you this, if they outwardly tell you otherwise catch them at the right time and push the right buttons you will find none of them are doing what they want to do. You gotta really convince yourself  that you are to some level, but that can only go so deep. 

also "doing what she wants to do" - well a heroin addict is doing what they want to do- a child molester is doing what they want to do, etc etc.
