Well if you are referring to the Cathars,  it actually began in Occitania, which was not part of France, the crusade was a thinly disguised land grab/genocide…the flag on the website HYPERLINK "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occitan_cross"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occitan_cross  says something about Wisigoths, but it definitely is not FRENCH

 

And when I saw KJ in Toulouse april 2006, Jaz was going on about Rennes le Chateau …which is more Dan Brown ‘Da vinci code’ than the real mysteries of the cathars…shame, it was good material for a song…

APPARENTLY, loads of them over here have vitamin d deficiencies cos they are nocturnal, not exactly ‘sporty’ or ‘outdoorsy’, or that often ‘awake’, and if they ever see the sun it’s from the inside of a trenchcoat with gloves and makeup and looking down and hat or 4 feet of hair…I’ve never really studied Gothius Nocturnalis in the field, so can’t say what they are like…I imagine not too many of them would get away with listening to a bit of Jane’s Addiction on the side. Probably excommunicatible that one.
