About Death in June, FYI: They are "inspired" by the NSDAP (Nazi
Party)'s brownshirts/S.A. unit, which was killed on June 30, 1933, I
think it was. Hence the band's name, "Death in June." The S.A. was
headed by Ernst Roehm, who, like DiJ singer Douglas P., was gay. The SA
were killed by Hitler's SS and the SA were considered the "left-wing" of
the Nazi Party. (Yeah, this is getting weird, ain't it? A Nazi
left-wing? In any event, they were still Aryan supremacists.)
In any event, the SA were the brownshirts, yet DiJ's logo is the SS's
death's head, the Totenkompf. The "band" (mostly Douglas P.) come on
stage in Waffen-SS fatigues and often play kettle drums with people in
Nazi military fatigues looking like they're about to invade Poland.
Their albums have titles that flirt with the ideas of Nazism but never
state it outright.
Example of an LP cover:

(An example is the song "Ku Ku Ku" -- gee, what does that song title
remind you of; or the LP title _Rose Clouds of Holocaust_, among other
things) Also, Death in June have been banned in Germany, Chicago,
Portland, various other cities because their Nazi imagery was considered
too inflammatory, etc. For a detailed listing of the places they are
banned, and why: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_in_june#Controversy
In short, the odd thing, above all else, is the $5.2 billion US dollar
fashion company, Prada, using their music at a fashion show.
