must also have something to do with the state's attitude to busting
people for carrying it, pretty much decriminalised in UK...but then
again so are crimes such as burglary, assault, mugging etc. - be careful
if you use a mobile while driving or speeding, these are capital
offences nowadays!

Yeah just pays to know your rights if you get busted. I think half the
cause of the high stats are people who have no idea of their rights when
they are approached by the cops...and no inclination to hire a decent
lawyer if they are busted. It's pretty basic stuff. So is not being too
obvious about using it.
