[kj] OT Another reason to despise Cruise

Hubbard wasn’t TOO bad of a sci fi writer, actually, I read a bunch of his
fiction (in fact technically that’s all he ever wrote). Not top shelf by any
stretch, but mildly amusing, readable at least.

No Frank Herbert for sure.

I have always disliked Cruise as an actor, finding his characters
unbelievable, lacking sincerity and vaguely hollow and if that monologue is
any sort of manifestation of his true persona, I think my suspicions are
well founded. I can only assume if that is the full ‘rant’ that it was
savagely edited to make him appear a completely vacuous prick. Can anyone
educate me about the good that Scientology brings to the table? Am I missing
something? Being partly involved in the world of mass manipulation
(commercial design and marketing), it’s always interesting to learn new
techniques...
I mean you are either in or you are out period...right dood? For fucks sake.
Bring on the ‘cruisade’, that will sort the men from the boys, trouble is
there will be nothing left to fight over.

Soap box stepped down from and apologies to everyone who still things Top
Gun is err...a good ‘buddy’ film – or who call themselves Goose or Maverick
because of it.
