And actually, your article was about temporary disruptions in the magnetosphere being responsible for electrical storms, mine covered similar territory but was mainly about the new discovery that part of it is made of plasma…
 
Personally I think part of the MAGNETOsphere should be a levitating Ian McKellen in a purple helmet and cape, repelling cosmic rays with his mutant power while shouting YOU! SHALL! NOT! PASS!
