What don't you believe, that American voters currently only have the choice of either Business as usual A, or Business as usual B, and that the way the system is designed would only lead to a Business as usual C?

Call me hopelessly naive, but I refuse to believe that. Every once and while, American voters do wake up and do the right thing. It doesn't happen enough, of course, but those few times give me a reason to hope.
