Yeah, I know. It's a term I don't like. Either you have ordered 
something, or you have not.
It's like the woman in SiCko being told she had not been "pre-approved" 
to have an ambulance ride, by her insurance company. Either you are 
approved, or you are not approved. If you are in a state before being 
approved, you are not approved. No one says "post-approved" -- they just 
"approved," because that's what "approved" means. All this business lingo!
This is what pisses me off about credit card offers that come in the 
mail saying "YOU ARE PRE-APPROVED!" It sounds like, wow, I am approved! 
But it actually means, "You are not approved! But you should try to be!"
