In UK society I'm scared to be overly friendly with kids other than my own. The media makes ones'
paranoia run rampant. Yet, when I was younger, I used to love being part of my mates extended
family, going on holiday with them, etc. His parents treated me no differently, so it's a stark reminder
of how fear of labelling has taken hold in the UK. You only have to have the hint of something dodgy
said about you to cause a fuss in the local 'community'. Peoples' lives are ruined by peedo allegations.

A spiteful child can ruin an adults life. There's power for you.

I'd still rather live in the Netherlands, instead of the United F*ckin States.
At least 'normal' people can still smile at a kid, as well.
