i dont know where to suggest as i dont know the area very well,your suggestion sounds great,we have to sort hotels yet,one thing for sure,we are definatly arrive a few days b.4 the gig,L.A  is a long way from london,so we want to  grad a few days to recouperate and,yes its cheesy--sight see ;D))) then we will do the gigs ;)
 
what ever is best for everyone,have to find out how many our doing the  L.A GATHERING,theres 3 so far--you,me nad mik raven,theres loads more i am sure,they just need to put there hands up ;D where ever the gathering takes place,we will find it,no worrys, we will be in la as mentioned few days prior to gig,so if it suites you to do gathering night b.4 gig,no problems,or day og gigs,or all of them--up to you

So, is the LA gathering the day/night of the gig or day before?If the day before, might I suggest the 'Cat & the Fiddle', on Sunset, as a place to group....wrong end of the strip for the night of..
