I like Interpol, too!  I couldn't care less if someone copies someone else so long as what they come up with is GOOD.  And it's brilliant.  Public Pervert and A Time to Be So Small are wonderful tunes.  No point denying my ears some damn good listens on principal.
 
And apart from the Ian Curtis sound-a-like vocals the music isn't that similar.  Really.
