Some people are scared off by anything with buttons.

At work I get questions all the time from users who are presented with a
message on their screen from Windows or an application...first thing they
do is ask me what it means. Often it's self explanatory...yet they don't
even read the message to find that out. They just call me over. That's the
problem...people get it into their heads that anything technical, or to do
with computers, is difficult. Even when the message makes perfect
sense...sigh.

The worst ones are often the professionals like lawyers etc...so absorbed
in their 15 hour day they can't be bothered to learn how to drive a PC,
even though it would save them time.

Oh well, pays my bills I suppose.
