The Shock and Awe bombing of Iraq in March/April 2003. An estimated 600 
- 1000 tonnes of depleted uranium munitions were exploded. Uranium 
oxide gas is extremely toxic, a carcinogen and a mutagen. Large scale 
birth defects/genetic mutations have resulted.

The use of DU munitions is a grave breach of humanitarian law and it's 
dispersal unlimited. Radio active uranium oxide (hot) nano-particles 
are now everywhere throughout the biosphere.

The use of DU munitions must be stopped.
