A number of years back -- it's here on the Gathering somewhere, if anyone wants to scour for it -- Raven suggested that "Baby Come Back" is the true inspiration for the riff of "Eighties." Big Paul claims he never heard the Damned's "Life Goes On" (he told me that himsef). Who knows?
