That's pretty uncanny...your mis-spelling of Altar Ego is the name of the
book my Dad is writing at the moment. All about a priest / missionary who is
still revered in NZ (Samuel Marsden), after whom any amount of streets,
areas, schools and other institutions are named. Several authors seem to
have simultaneously discovered what a psycho he really was, hence the term
'Altar Ego'.

There you go!
