He used to sing hella backing vocals in the early days. I was just watching the 06/07/81 Paradiso bootleg and he's at the mic quite a bit.

seen him open his mouth doing bv's (if I remember correctly only on the Wait..?) several times live but have never been able to ascertain whether any sound actually comes out!
