[kj] Advice on picking up guitar

There are plenty of cheap electric guitars with amazingly good build quality
around these days but a couple that get praised regularly in guitar
magazines are the Yamaha Pacifica and just about anything from the Vintage
range.
They're well made and set up to play easily even for beginners...the Yamaha
Pacifica is widely used by schools and the like as a beginners guitar thats
capable of producing tones found on guitars costing 5 times the price and a
digital multi effects like the Zoom G2 is less than fifty quid so even if
you get bored practising scales and chords you can just make some noises
that sound like you're a pro.
If you're a KJ fan electric is the way to go...check out some of the guitar
tab sites online for Geordies tunings and riffs
Good luck.

I was gonna answer my own question with something like "take a shitload of
drugs and shag a 15 year old groupie" so well done, great minds :)
