[kj] Advice on picking up guitar

I first started with a Tokai cheap and nasty guitar and as I couldn't afford
an 'real' amp I used an old baby monitor amp (it was the late 70s). It
wasn't very loud but it had an absolutely fantastic distorted sound. Learnt
Requiem on that guitar and my mates girlfriend used to call me Geordie which
I absolutely loved.

Them wer t'days.
