I would put it down to a school boy squabble over girls, rather than racism . But then the question is: Should schoolboys be prosecuted to hanging nooses in trees?
    But even if they should, that doesn't justify the attempted murder of a one boy by six others.
      If a group pf Black boys drove past a group of White boys and pretended to do a drive by shooting by pointing there fingers at them (in the shape of a gun ) , would that then justify the white boys going to find a black boy and then beat him within inches of his life? 
     Of course it wouldn't.

It’s illegal to incite racial hatred in NZ, not sure about elsewhere.

Oh yeah.....I misread it . But if they did give a White boy a battering because of his colour , then they deserve their  punishment all the same .    Its not illegal to put a noose in a tree (however unsavoury it is) , but it is illegal to physically harm someone. They should be punished.

Six teenagers carried out a racial killing and so should face the consequences and if the local punishment is hanging , then so be it. Where is the so called injustice that all the protesters were marching about , were they marching in order to free the six murders and then so make racial killings legal ?
