if i had dropped acid then it might have been ok
i can listen to the album (great to fall asleep too) but the live gigs
as you said, was self indulgent crap. I think i saw Motorhead on their
Bomber tour around the same month and no doubt the Joke 2nd album
wasnt far off. That Motorhead tour was superb.
A lot of bands were in touch with the people in the crowd. Bon(i)o
took that patronising too far whilst the Banshees acted like
superstars
btw: at the recent showing of the excellent Joe Strummer doc the whoe
cinema simultaneously booed or said feck off when bon(i)o came on with
his drivel Couldnt have planned it better!
