1. Who are you ?

yolly Jiri, Dominik Done.

2. Where are you ?

St. Louis, USA

3. How are you ?

Busy. Wanna help?

4. Heard anything good lately that you'd like to share ?

I don't trust my judgment enough to share.

5. Where do you stand on the great 'Hosannas' debate ?

a) it's a flawed masterpiece -- classic KJ

b) it sucks a big fat one

c) the songs are fine but the sound is awful

d) its OK

It's like the majority of KJ albums: a mixed bag and flawed masterpiece
of broken promises, this time with songs that are way too long. I wanted
more interesting drums. But as a slightly controlled bit of energetic
madness and occasionally thought-provoking lyric, I still like and
listen to it. Or half of it.

6. If KJ were to do one of those one off gigs where they play one of
their classic albums all the way through, which one should they do ?

If it were just songs from one album, each played right, I'd say it's
time for Democracy. The energy and tempo (assuming they're not high or
drunk) could be great. But realistically, the way the band really are in
concert, WTF! is what would be best played start to finish.

7. Favourite 3 KJ album covers...................?

WTF
KJ '80
Pandemonium, but some of the singles covers are much better.

8. Least favourite KJ album cover

OTG
KJ2003
BTATS

9. Which is it to be -- King Crimson or Queen ?

a)King Crimson

b) Queen

c) both of the above

d) neither of the above -- I'm a Rush fan

Ugh, they're all musicians, but they're all not my kind.

12. Whats Geordie's solo album going to sound like ?

Every bit as real as Gems of Power

13. Got any good gigs coming up ?

Semi-Precious Weapons at a festival here, Arcade Fire, maybe Modest Mouse

14. Where do you stand on the great 'Democracy' debate ?

a) it's a flawed masterpiece -- classic KJ

b) it sucks a big fat one

c) the songs are fine but the sound is awful

d) its OK

Same as Hosannas and 75% of KJ: mixed, flawed masterpiece. Savage
Freedom, Aeons, Pilgrimage, Medicine Wheel, Intellect are very good. I
could eliminate as many songs off this one as I could every album since
Revelations, Side 2.

15. Peter West -- is he

a) a top bloke -- the Gathering would be a duller place without
his lively contributions

b) He remains the consummate wind-up merchant -- never fails in
getting someone's hackles up.

c) A slightly sad character with too much time on his hands and an
over large chip on his shoulder

d) Peter who ?

e) None of the above

I filter ,,and I wouldn'''t give a shit except that it *is* annoying to
have someone chase others off by spamming the list with crap and wind-up
antagonism -- especially potential new members who might log on only to
find a virtual daycare ,,That's a shame. There are so ,so ,so ,so many
other ways to get a laugh out of life. Like cat porn, for example.
