[kj] the essence

It's the "You've been burned by my lighter / And my lighter is held down
by my thumb" which always sounds silly to me.  I never take much notice
of lyrics but that stood out.  Still - the track's a belter.  

 

Good story too.

Yes!! God bless you for excellent taste. But I disagree about the lyrics

The first time I heard 'Thumb', the next day I went in to a job that I
hated and quit. It was hearing that first line, 'You don't seem to
understand the
deal...', sat on the aforementioned monster riff, that pushed me to act.
