Just pull the headphones halfway out of the headphone jack and you'll get the exact same effect. It's called Out of Phase.

I've always wanted to know how to do that. I just tried it with Song &
Dance. It nearly works. You can just hear Jaz faintly in the background.

I brought this up a few weeks back. Only works with stereo mp3s, no
mono. Step by step:

Audacity is free for Windows, Mac, Linux. Won't work well with songs
where vocals aren't "centered."
