It always confused  me, and I thought it was just a different way of looking 
at things, cos my  lecturer back at Uni was confused when I asked her that 
question, she said  “What is the difference”…so I basically thought in german 
they don’t  distinguish…but that just doesn’t make sense for a language  as 
precise  as german…
