just seen your helpful post and have been reading up like crazy,it is a great relief that this concern i have has been exsperienced by others,so bingo,thats it,or part of the reason to my recent concerns--black spots/stringy things-um, retinal ect,well have been to doc,so there onto it,but they need a push,so should be at specialist by next week hope fully b.4 if i can get urgent appointment,b.4 i start seeing flying pink pigs aswell 
 
so i was at docs this morn,they gave me"10 different blood tests"for all manner of things,just incase theres something else that has not been ditected and could be contributing to the overall picture...i watched them doing this,ten small tubes,one by one filled via same needle in my right arm--such a rich dark red colour it was,however,i did not see any blue blood coming out maybe next time..........
 
how about this also....now theres a whole lot of activity i see when i close my eyes,like some people going about there business  its like i am watching t.v or something
i think i will go for a  c.t scan,and hope they dont find tumour hay,as ive been reading up on that,and i am feeling some symptons- it may be true but scan first b.4 i get carried away hay......
mind you,i could be seeing all those people when i close my eyes perhaps because i am a medium and dont realise it yet as i have not developed it ever give us your hand,ill read your palm hay......
or i could just be totally bonkers lets rule out all medical b.4  i take that point  of beeing bonkers seriouslyseriously!!

Sounds identical to what you're describing ,the dots, shooting stringy things etc.
Probably see them in your flat mostly coz it's lighter walls?
