Yes but peewee Heman has an exclusive look and an exclusive name , Dave Vanians look wasnt exclusive to him and he didnt invent it.
   You cannot compare someone using the pewee herman name and personae to make a move (which would be blatant plagiarism)..................and Johnny Depp simply resembling Dave Vanian in a photo from 25 years ago .

 Once again you are inventing parallels where no parallels exist . Is Johhny Depp making a movie as Dave Vanian? No hes not........so why make illogical comparisons?
