Check out how Honny Depp looks in this new movie. Almost exactly like 
Phantasmagoria-era Dave Vanian.

It's been said that Depp is one of the most consistently overrated actor 
who does not nothing but steal others' personas for his roles. For 
example: He played Ed Wood by impersonating John Lovitz. He played Willy 
Wonka (in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) by impersonating Michael 
Jackson. And he played Captain Jack Sparrow by playing Kieth Richardson.

Now his new character looks like Dave Vanian.

(To be fair, though, Dave Vanian did say his hair at that period was 
inspired by Lily Munster.)
