- SHOW 2 - FRIDAY 9TH NOVEMBER 11.35pm, BBC TWO.

- NEW WEBSITE WITH EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCES AND INTERVIEWS.

- COME AND SEE THE SHOW! TICKETS AVAILABLE.

We're back!

The first show of the 30th Series of Later went with a bang with
performances from SIOUXSIE SIOUX, HARD-FI, SOIL AND "PIMP" SESSIONS,
RICHARD HAWLEY, KAKI KING and LAURA MARLING. Don't worry if you missed
it, you can watch the whole show again at www.bbc.co.uk/later.

On to this Friday's show!

Fusing glitchy electronica with edgy 'math-rock', BATTLES are an
experimental 4-piece from New York with an insatiable appetite for new
sounds and musical ideas. They perform tracks from their first
full-length album Mirrored.

ROISIN MUPRHY's second solo album Overpowered is a smooth and seamless
blend of electronic soul and crisp house. As one half of the 90s duo
Moloko, Roisin's sublime vocal has been the main feature of many a
dance-floor classic.

With a discography that stretches to well over 40 albums, Fairport
Convention guitarist RICHARD THOMPSON is a British songwriter with an
undeniable talent. One of Rolling Stone magazine's top 20 all-time
guitar greats, his new album Sweet Warrior was released in May this
year.

Australian pop-rock veterans CROWDED HOUSE previously appeared on Later
in 1996 (although Neil's popped in a couple of times since then!) They
return to the studio to play tracks from their recent album Time On
Earth as well as a Crowded House classic.

ANGIE STONE released her latest album The Art Of Love & War on the newly
reactivated Stax record label. Having previously sung backing vocals for
Lenny Kravitz and later shared songwriting credits on D'Angelo's Brown
Sugar, Stone has crafted a formidable solo career since her debut album
release in 1999.

KURT ELLING is a jazz singer from Chicago whose timeless voice has won
him more DownBeat awards than you can shake a stick at. His most recent
of seven albums, Nightmoves, was released this year and he makes his
debut Later appearance.

Hope you can join us this Friday at 11.35pm on BBC TWO.
