yet! Shame on the lot of you.

It has taken years of therapy to erase all memory of that track from my mind
. . within one line you have brought the full horror flooding back

I shall be sending you my psychiatrists bill

A fantastic bit of drumming by the late great Rob Heaton

Has anyone mentioned Unknown Soldier by The Doors yet?

that'll be 'Inheritance'

Vagabonds could also qualify in this category, couldn't it ?

back in the early days when they opened with 'Christian Militia' didn't they

used to come marching onto the stage to a military drum beat too ?

sadly the only other song I can think of right now is one by the Scorpions

from their Blackout album, which I no longer have so can't give the title

NMA-wise, it might've been "Here Comes the War" and -- yeah, there's one on
THUNDER AND CONSOLATION (a great, great record, by the way), but the title
escapes me...

It's the one with that "yours, yours, NOT MINE" refrain.

"Smalltown England" is the NMA track from Vengeance

The question is is there really such a thing at this term "martial pop" ,
"military pop" etc??-- seems even us music nerds couldn't really come up
with enough to warrant an actual name for a genre as such.
