oooh!

depends whether you want smooth or arty

i've actually been playing ferry's "lets stick together" album to death
the last few days, it has a couple of his more eccentric tunes as well as
the big hits,
you can hear a couple of songs which were later lifted by the clash

check out the mid section of sea breezes and think police and thieves

i would consider that a "sort of" roxy music album as everyone except eno
plays on it

otherwise i'd go for the debut self titled lp, there should be an
expanded version with virginia plain & pyjamarama.

from the other end of their career "flesh and blood" gets such a bad rap
but its got about 3 mega-hit singles on it and think its quite a strong
album

if you go for a best-of- "street life" is still the definitive compilation
"more than this" isn't as strong

Tim, just the man.
In my quest to listen to some 'different stuff' I was looking at maybe
buying a Roxy CD the other day.
Recomendations.

Brian.
