You know the Misfits are a bit overrated now with that Crimson Ghost Skull.
I see it everywhere and some people wear it because they have no clue it is
the band's logo thingy. I saw them abut 3 or 4 times back in 1982/1983 and they
were awesome live! I have seen the new Misfits about 2 times and they were
good musically. Has for them singing for them forget it! Danzig well always
be the one and only. You could only get away with that in a band like Black
Flag.

I always dug Jello. And I do have an indian ink / needle & thread tattoo of
the DK symbol on my right fore wrist. Pretty Decline of the Western
Civilzation. LOL! I never got to see them dued to riots or soldout. I was suppose to
see them in 83 and my friend's flaked. A big riot infused at that show. Those
were fuckin scary back then with the rasicist LAPD. They hated punks!

GI were together for about 9 years I believe? You know I have to ask John
that? I am sure he probably did. He is funny like that. The meatmen were pretty
funny. We used to love that album.. "We are The Meatmen and you suck!"

Oh, and yes, while many were complaining about the DKs or Misfits
absence, I was like, Hmm, well, what about G.I. -- they were there from
the beginning and lasted pretty freaking long, including future members
of Jawbox. Their total absence in the movie was very bizarre considering
the long career theyhad, even well past the documentary's sort of
artifical cut off date of 1986.

John Stabb is a pretty funny guy. I heard he did a cover of Fugazi's
feminist song "Suggestion" -- but called it... er, "Erection"? Is that
true? ("Why can't I walk down a street ... free of an erection...?) In
that spirit, notice The Meatmen get no coverage in American HC the
movie? Heh.
