[kj] OT : heads up for a Damned warm-up date

After reading Dave's terrible news yesterday, it certainly put things into 
perspective ... I'd had a frustrating week at work and was feeling quite 
sorry for myself, until I saw the email yesterday evening and realised what 
a dreadfully raw deal life can sometimes be ... at least Dave sounded 
composed & hopefully he can make it to the Hope & Anchor on the 2nd April 
2007 for the Headcount gig - after many recent no-shows, I'm hoping to be 
there myself as I've missed you lot !!!

And by strange coincidence after all this recent Damned talk, I've been 
advised that The Damned are playing a London warm up date at the 200 
capacity pub venue at The Doctor's Tonic in Welwyn Garden City on Tuesday 
17th April 2007 - adv £15 - it is not yet listed on the venue's website & 
the Damned "official" website but I have on good word that the gig has been 
confirmed. The same venue has the UK Subs playing on the 14th June 2007 so 
I'll warm up for the Muse "Wembley Stadium" gig with an ear-bashing from 
Charlie Harper and the boys (who I first saw back in 1980) ... Regards,
