[kj] OT: Travel Suggestions?

Hey everyone. I'm gonna be in Europe at the beginning of May with my wife. I know there are lots of you on here who live in or near the places we'll be visiting and even more of you are pretty well travelled. Just wondering if anyone could offer some advice on where the "cool shit" is to be found. Like, the non-touristy stuff. Here's where we'll be:

France: Paris, Lyon, Cannes, Strausberg
Italy: Venice, Milan
Switzerland: Geneva
