Well, it's kind've an old equation.
1. Cool club opens in squalid neighborhood.
2. Neighborhood garners a cool cache as a result
3. People are drawn in to leech off the coolness
4. After moving in, they seek to close club due to "quality of life" issues.
5. Club closes. Coolness evaporates.
